Down 2-0 in both the NLDS and Game 3, what little hope remained for the Colorado Rockies was arguably extinguished in the sixth inning, and very much by fault of their own. The Rockies entered the sixth inning down two runs due to a Milwaukee Brewers rally in the first inning and a Jesús Aguilar homer in the fourth, but they fell in hot water again when Mike Moustakas singled and Erik Kratz doubled to put men on second and third with one out.
