Stars right winger Alexander Radulov got some help from a fan wearing a replica jersey his size during a preseason game. Something was wrong with Alexander Radulov’s jersey during Saturday’s preseason game between the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers. The ill fit of his gear bothered Radulov enough that members of the Stars staff approached a fan in the stands wearing a replica jersey that was the right size. Continue to Article

Jason Spezza is unlikely to play like a $7.5 million guy for the Dallas Stars this season, but it’s tough to imagine things getting worse than they did last season. Tyler Seguin cashed in. A couple weeks after expressing some mild discontent with the Dallas Stars over the lack of movement on his next contract, Tyler Seguin has agreed to an eight-year mega extension worth $78.8 million. Just seven players are scheduled to make in excess of eight figures for the upcoming season and Seguin will come in just under that threshold when his current contract expires at the end of this year. The Dallas Stars signed Tyler Seguin to a contract extension on Thursday, which is already fantastic news. Especially greedy (and honestly, probably unrealistic) Stars fans would’ve hoped that Seguin would sign at or below Jamie Benn‘s $9.5 million cap hit. “It was a process, a learning process this summer — learning the whole side of business negotiations,” Seguin said.
