Veteran umpire Joe West confiscated a card from Phillies reliever Austin Davis in the eighth inning of Philadelphia's 7-1 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Saturday night. The Phillies pulled off an important win Friday night, beating the Chicago Cubs, 2-1, on the strength of Asdrubal Cabrera's walk-off homer with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning. Pat Neshek inherited a runner in the top of the 10th and, with some defensive help from first baseman Carlos Santana, pitched out of trouble. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich hit for the cycle at Cincinnati as the visiting Brewers edged the Reds 13-12 in a 10-inning Major League Baseball matchup on Wednesday. Yelich followed his first career multi-home run game on Tuesday by completing the rare cycle -- a single, double, triple and homer in the same game -- with a triple in the seventh inning that drove in Lorenzo Cain from second base to pull Milwaukee level with the Reds at 10-10.
