Running back Alfred Morris has been a member of the San Francisco 49ers for just over two weeks, but it appears as though he’s shown enough to lock up a roster spot ahead of the final preseason game this Thursday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Tuesday that he saw enough of Morris’ capabilities last week against the Indianapolis Colts and that he may not play much against the Los Angeles Chargers this week. The Bengals agreed to contract extensions Tuesday with defensive tackle Geno Atkins and end Carlos Dunlap, their top pass rushers who were entering the final years on their deals.
