Kansas City
The Bears have done their best to simulate a true gameweek over the last few days, even if that's involved an evening practice at Vernon Hills High School and will end with a game on Saturday, not Sunday. Because the starters will play into the third quarter, coach Matt Nagy and his staff will have an opportunity to evaluate their first-half plan and make adjustments to it based on what the Chiefs do going into the second half. Maybe it was the approach of preseason game No. 3 with its increased playing time for starters. Continue to Article

Kansas City
Nagy will be on the opposite sideline from his mentor and coaching role model, Andy Reid, who gave Nagy his start in 2008 as a coaching intern with the Philadelphia Eagles, then hired Nagy in 2013 as quarterbacks coach when Reid moved to Kansas City. "It is preseason, and I think it just kind of puts a little added fun to it, just the respect I have for that organization and obviously for Coach Reid and [Kansas City GM Brett Veach," Nagy said, smiling. "But [Chicago] is my home, and [the Bears are] my ‘family' now. Continue to Article
