Already shelved by Tommy John surgery, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager will have arthroscopic surgery on his left hip Tuesday, the team announced Monday. The surgery will be performed in New York City by Dr. Bryan Kelly, and Seager is expected to resume baseball activities in January, per the team. Seager was already ruled out for the season after spraining the ulnar collateral ligament in his right (throwing) elbow, requiring Tommy John surgery in May. The Dodgers announced Monday that Corey Seager will undergo an arthroscopic surgery on his left hip on Tuesday in New York. The All-Star shortstop has been off the field since April when the team announced he would miss the remainder of the season following a Tommy John surgery to repair a right UCL sprain.
