New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez was put back on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday because of a strained right groin, a day after failing to hustle on a pair of key plays in a 7-6 loss to Tampa Bay. Sanchez missed 20 games from June 25 to July 19 because of the groin injury. ''We had an MRI yesterday, and it showed the same injury, same spot, same location,'' Sanchez said through a translator. Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez faced a ton of backlash on Monday night after failing to hustle on a potentially game-tying ground ball in the top of the ninth inning. With New York trailing the Tampa Bay Rays 7-6 and the bases loaded, Sanchez hit a grounder to the left side of second base. About the only thing Gary Sanchez was quick to do Monday night was accept the blame for his lack of effort. Sanchez failed to hustle on a pair of key plays, Jake Bauers hit a three-run homer and scored with some nifty baserunning, and the Tampa Bay Rays beat Luis Severino and the New York Yankees 7-6.
