Closer Brad Hand was traded from the San Diego Padres to the Cleveland Indians on Thursday, MLB Network reported. The Athletic reported the Indians also acquired submarining right-hander Adam Cimber, who was a 3.17 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 48 1/3 innings as a rookie. Adam Haseley had one heck of a first week in Double A. The Phillies' first-round pick in 2017 (eighth overall) was promoted to Double A Reading on July 11 and responded by going 5 for 13 (.385) with a double, two homers and two walks in his first four games.
