Alex Bregman's shaving habits garnered attention on Saturday when he shaved his mustache between at-bats in Sunday's 11–3 win over the Royals. Carlos Correa delivered a walk-off single with the bases loaded and no outs in the 12th inning, and the Houston Astros rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat the visiting Kansas City Royals 4-3 on Saturday at Minute Maid Park. Correa lined a 1-1 fastball from Royals right-hander Justin Grimm (1-3) into right-center field, scoring George Springer from third base. Rosell Herrera followed a marvelous defensive play in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth as the visiting Kansas City Royals snapped a nine-game losing skid with a 1-0 victory over the Houston Astros on Friday at Minute Maid Park. Herrera scored Adalberto Mondesi with his drive to center field off Astros right-hander Ken Giles (0-2), who surrendered a leadoff single to Mondesi to open the ninth.
