Carlos Correa delivered a walk-off single with the bases loaded and no outs in the 12th inning, and the Houston Astros rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat the visiting Kansas City Royals 4-3 on Saturday at Minute Maid Park. Correa lined a 1-1 fastball from Royals right-hander Justin Grimm (1-3) into right-center field, scoring George Springer from third base. Herrera opened the eighth by snatching a home run from Astros third baseman Alex Bregman, timing his jump in right field to make the catch at the wall. Continue to Article

Austin Bibens-Dirkx earned his first victory of the season, shutting down a struggling Kansas City Royals squad that's wondering when it will get its next win. Bibens-Dirkx pitched effectively into the seventh inning, Rougned Odor homered and the Texas Rangers extended their winning streak to a season-high five games with a 3-2 victory Wednesday night. Bibens-Dirkx (1-1) allowed one run and five hits in 6 2/3 innings for his first win since last Sept. 6 in a relief appearance at Atlanta - and sent the Royals to their ninth straight loss.
