The San Diego Padres pounded out nine extra-base hits Monday night, including four solo homers, to defeat the visiting Atlanta Braves 11-4 at Petco Park. Washington Nationals right-hander Jeremy Hellickson departed Sunday's game against the Atlanta Braves after four pitches due to a strained right hamstring. Hellickson is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on Monday. Giancarlo Stanton led the way as the New York Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles 8-5 in MLB action on Saturday. Sloppy defense and three errors from the Orioles opened the door for more Yankees runs, and sluggers Stanton and Miguel Andujar made them pay with homers.
