On Thursday, the Phillies officially placed outfielder Rhys Hoskins on the 10-day disabled list with a fractured jaw. Freeland pitched effectively into the sixth inning and doubled during Colorado's three-run fourth Tuesday night, leading the Rockies to an 11-4 win over the San Francisco Giants, who lost two pitchers to injury - including starter Jeff Samardzija. It's hard to believe it's been 8 years since Roy Halladay tossed a perfect game for the Phillies against the Marlins down in Florida. One of Roy's old teammates and friends, A.J. Burnett, used the opportunity to write a fond remembrance of Doc that talks about what an amazing pitcher he was but also what an amazing friend.
