If not for bad luck, Byron Buxton might have no luck at all. The former No. 1 prospect and current Minnesota Twins center fielder has seen his promising career sidetracked by untimely and unlucky injuries multiple times since being selected No. 2 overall in the 2012 draft. Gregorius hit an RBI single for a 2-1 lead in the third inning and pulled a changeup just inside the right-field foul pole and into the second deck for a 5-1 margin in the fifth, chasing Jose Berrios (2-2). While Brandon Drury is inching closer to returning, rookie Miguel Andujar is giving first-year manager Aaron Boone something to think about when making up lineup cards and deciding who plays third base for the New York Yankees. Andujar began the season 3-for-28, but he is hitting .316 after homering and getting at least two hits for the sixth time in seven games in a series-opening 14-1 rout of the Minnesota Twins on Monday night. Andujar looks to continue his run of productive at-bats for the Yankees on Tuesday in the second game of a four-game series against the Twins at Yankee Stadium. Continue to Article
