Christian Yelich belted a go-ahead, two-run homer against his former team as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the visiting Miami Marlins 4-2 on Sunday afternoon. Yelich, traded by the Marlins to the Brewers this past offseason, hit his shot to center field in the fourth inning. It was his second homer of the season, and it helped the Brewers win their sixth straight game. Continue to Article

Mike Moustakas hit a go-ahead three-run homer, Abraham Almonte blasted his second career grand slam and the Kansas City Royals defeated the host Detroit Tigers 8-5 on Sunday. Moustakas' seventh-inning shot allowed the Royals to split the four-game series at Comerica Park. Aguilar, who had entered the game as a defensive substitution in the top of the ninth, led off the frame and battled reliever Junichi Tazawa (0-1). It was Aguilar's first homer of the season, an opposite-field shot to right-center. Continue to Article

The Brewers responded by intentionally walking Bruce, which loaded the bases for Noah Syndergaard, who quickly ended the inning and potential rally with a pop out.  Syndergaard returned to pitch the top of the sixth inning, but was removed one out later. The Brewers then knocked in two runs against reliever Robert Gsellman to take a temporary Continue to Article

The Toronto Blue Jays' home game Monday against the Kansas City Royals is in danger of being postponed because of a hole in the Rogers Centre roof created by falling ice from the nearby CN Tower. The Blue Jays announced that they are working with Toronto police and the CN Tower to evaluate the "viability of playing tonight's game." Multiple reporters have posted photos on social media of the hole, which has caused leaking onto Rogers Centre's turf field. If the hole in the roof forces a postponement, it would be the third straight for the Blue Jays, who also had games against the Indians postponed Saturday and Sunday because of inclement weather in Cleveland. Six games were postponed Sunday across Continue to Article
