Several hours after the two young Phillies everyone wants to talk about hit home runs of their own, another young Phillie who's recently been the odd man out won the game. Nick Williams, pinch-hitting with two outs in the bottom of the eighth against Reds reliever Kevin Quackenbush, hit a 417-foot solo homer to the bullpen area in right-center field. Nick Williams hit a pinch-hit home run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Philadelphia Phillies past the Cincinnati Reds 6-5 on Monday night in front of a sparse crowd at Citizens Bank Park. Cincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez broke his right thumb when he was hit by a pitch during Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Suarez, who entered leading the Reds in RBIs, winced after a pitch from Jameson Taillon caught him on the right hand leading off the fourth inning.
