Former Los Angeles Lakers executive Mitch Kupchak has been offered the Charlotte Hornets general manager job, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer. Kupchak is set to replace Rich Cho, who was fired in February after a 24–33 start to the season. After an emotional night at Golden 1 Center on Saturday, that included a jarring injury to Warriors shooting guard Patrick McCaw, the Kings return to the action on the second night of a back-to-back. The news coming out of Golden State is that McCaw is doing much better after taking a huge fall and being wheeled off the court on a stretcher. Donovan Mitchell scored 22 points and Dante Exum added a season-high 21 points off the bench to lead the Utah Jazz to a 107-97 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.
