In the hour after first pitch on Opening Day, I talked with 25 fans that I had never met before Thursday. I kept count. Among them, every single person expressed excitement and hope for the Mets in 2018. Similarly, they were all happy knowing Mickey Callaway was in the dugout. Ji-Man Choi says being with the Milwaukee Brewers reminds him of a fun day at an amusement park. DMX was sentenced on Wednesday to one year in prison and three years of supervised release for tax evasion after trying to avoid paying $1.7 million in federal taxes by concealing royalties and other income, according to TMZ. X was initially charged by prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York with 14 counts and a possible 44 years behind bars. The Brewers have released pitcher Yovani Gallardo, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The Brewers will be on the hook for $500,000 of his $2 million non-guaranteed salary.
