Seattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz will get an MRI on Sunday after leaving the team's 6-5 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Saturday with a sprained right ankle. Cruz was injured when he slipped on the dugout steps after hitting a two-run home run off Indians starter Carlos Carrasco in the sixth inning. Yonder Alonso stunned his former teammates with a first-inning grand slam Saturday afternoon, giving the Cleveland Indians a lead they never relinquished in a 6-5 win over the Seattle Mariners in Seattle. Andrew Miller pitched out of jams in the seventh and eighth innings, preserving a one-run lead, and closer Cody Allen worked a perfect ninth inning for his first save, getting the Indians even with the Mariners after a 2-1 loss on Opening Day.
