Authorities have named the five victims of a fatal helicopter crash in New York which killed everyone on board except the pilot. Richard Vance, 33, who was flying the helicopter, told authorities he believed a passenger's bag might have hit an emergency fuel shutoff switch in the moments before the chopper went down. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said it would look at the switch, the chopper's flotation devices and the photos on passengers' cameras to figure out what caused the crash in the East River. Between an emotional win in their last game and an early start to this one, there were plenty of reasons why the Toronto Raptors might not be sharp. Jonas Valanciunas scored 17 points, Kyle Lowry had 16 and the Raptors kept right on rolling, beating the New York Knicks 132-106 on Sunday for their season-high eighth straight victory. The Toronto Raptors bench has proven themselves on and off the court this season. Not only have the five players that make up the Raptors famed ‘bench mob’ been a welcome addition to the team’s play on the court, they bring a personality and energy to the sidelines as well.
