Pekka Rinne, NSH at BUF ($41) – Rinne hasn’t lost a game since Feb. 15's tilt against the Flames, and the bottom-dwelling Sabres shouldn’t pose much of a challenge. Jack Eichel is back in the lineup for the Sabres, but it’ll be very hard for them to generate offense against one of the league’s best defenses. For the first time in nearly a decade, the Buffalo Sabres had the bounces to go their way against the Chicago Blackhawks. Nicholas Baptiste scored two goals in the third period to lead the Sabres to a 5-3 win over the Blackhawks on Saturday. The Nashville Predators announced on Thursday afternoon that forward Calle Jarnkrok will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season due to an upper-body injury. Given that Jarnkrok has 16 goals and 35 total points in 68 games this season it is not an insignificant injury for the Predators. All of that brings us to something teams like the Predators — who have been doing this already — and Tampa Bay Lightning should consider down the stretch run of the regular season: Giving some of their key players an occasional night off. Pierre McGuire and Susan Sarandon had a rough night on Wednesday. During NBC’s Wednesday Night Rivalry, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the New York Rangers battled it out in a Metropolitan division showdown. What made the NBC broadcast different was that Susan Sarandon joined Pierre McGuire ‘Inside the Glass.’ After the Rangers first good chance, viewers of the broadcast realized they were in for a long night. Star center Jack Eichel returned to practice with the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday for the first time since sustaining a right high-ankle sprain on Feb. 10. Eichel, who has missed the team's past 14 games, could return as soon as Thursday, when the Sabres host the Toronto Maple Leafs. "I'd like to play as quickly as I can," Eichel said, per NHL.com.
