San Antonio
San Antonio headed into Saturday night’s nationally-televised showdown having lost 9-of-12, their defense has fallen back to pedestrian levels in that time (15th in the league in those dozen games), and not only is the Spurs 50-win season streak going to end, they are just 1.5 games from falling out of the playoffs completely. On top of that, San Antonio has the toughest schedule in the West the rest of the way. One thing could change everything: Kawhi Leonard. Continue to Article

San Antonio
The Spurs believe Kawhi Leonard could return to the court as soon Thursday, when the San Antonio plays the Pelicans, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Leonard, 26, has not played since Jan. 13 as he's dealt with a quad injury that's persisted all season. Kawhi Leonard could be available for the San Antonio Spurs as early as Thursday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans, sources tell ESPN's Lisa Salters. Leonard has been riding a stationary bike and participating in three-on-three drills to simulate the physical contact of games, but has done so with staff members and "not my players." The Spurs (37-28) are fifth in the Continue to Article

Houston
After 17 consecutive wins, Houston star James Harden wasn't going to let one little loss spoil his outlook. Kyle Lowry scored 30 points, DeMar DeRozan had 23 and the Toronto Raptors beat Houston 108-105 on Friday night, snapping the Rockets' 17-game winning streak. Harden scored 40 points but the Rockets lost for the first time since Jan. 27 at New Orleans. Continue to Article

Houston
The Toronto Raptors withstood a late surge from Houston to halt the Rockets' 17-game NBA winning streak with a 108-105 victory Friday in a clash of conference leaders. Kyle Lowry scored 30 points and DeMar DeRozan added 23 for the Eastern Conference leading Raptors, who have already secured a playoff berth. James Harden scored 40 points for the Rockets, who came into the game with the best record in the league but trailed by as many as 19 in the first half and by 15 at the break. Continue to Article
