The Winnipeg Jets signaled they are making a run for the Stanley Cup by trading a 2018 first-round pick to the St. Louis Blues for center Paul Stastny. As Minnesota recovered from an early deficit against the San Jose Sharks, Wild coach Bruce Boudreau turned to assistant Bob Woods and told him to keep sending defenseman Jared Spurgeon out on the ice as much as possible. With five goals and two assists in his last four games, Mikkel Boedker is on quite a tear at an opportune time. Boedker and Logan Couture each had a goal and an assist, sending the San Jose Sharks to a 3-2 victory over the slumping St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. Neal and Jonathan Marchessault scored in a 3 1/2-minute span in the third period, helping the Vegas Golden Knights to a 5-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks.
