All five Detroit starters scored in double figures and the Pistons held off short-handed Atlanta in a 104-98 win Wednesday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Ish Smith had 22 points and Andre Drummond finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Pistons, who led by as many as 30 in the second half, but had to withstand a furious Hawks' comeback in the fourth quarter. Blake Griffin’s ex-fiancee, former USC women’s basketball player Brynn Cameron, filed a palimony lawsuit against the five-time NBA All-Star, reportedly comparing his recent trade to the Detroit Pistons to his decision to call off their wedding and begin “a high-profile love affair” with Kendall Jenner. Cameron’s lawsuit said she was “homeless and cash-strapped” with their two children, Ford, 4, and Finley, 1, requiring financial assistance from her brother, former NFL tight end Jordan Cameron, after she gave up sports marketing and interior design careers at Griffin’s request, per multiple reports. In addition to mothering their children, Cameron cited a number of professional roles she played in Griffin’s life in the lawsuit, from personal assistant to fitness consultant, including counseling the oft-injured star on his “mounting tension” with Chris Paul and a “toxic” relationship with the Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin scored 19 points in his first game against his old team Friday night, but the Los Angeles Clippers used a fourth-quarter flurry to overtake the Detroit Pistons 108-95 in Detroit in a duel of two teams involved in a big trade two weeks ago. The Pistons lost in the finale of what had been an unbeaten six-game homestand despite the all-around effort of Griffin, who was playing his fifth game for Detroit after having been acquired in a six-player deal involving Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and a first-round draft pick.
