Marc-Andre Fleury’s tenure in Pittsburgh wasn’t always roses, but Flower was a huge part of the organization during some of the Penguins’ best years and when Pittsburgh ultimately decided to send him to Vegas (the Penguins gave Vegas a second round pick in exchange for them agreeing to take Fleury in the expansion draft), he left as a three-time Stanley Cup champion who won 375 regular season games and 62 playoff contests with Pittsburgh.  So it was great to see the Penguins’ tribute to him last night be followed by a lengthy standing ovation from the fans.  You can see the video of that here. Fleury was back in the city where he started his NHL career and spent more than a decade, helping to backstop the Penguins to multiple championships. Third-period goals by Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel ruined former teammate Marc-Andre Fleury's homecoming as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-4 on Tuesday night. Fleury, who won three Stanley Cups with the Penguins — including the last two seasons — returned to Pittsburgh for the first time since Vegas selected him in the expansion draft last summer.
