Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall underwent an MRI exam on his ailing left knee Monday and then traveled to Cleveland for further examination. Wall met with team doctors to discuss the soreness, something that has been troublesome for the five-time All-Star since a November injury. "It's a concern but we have to trust that the doctors and everybody is going to have the best game plan for him going forward and it's always about him going forward, not about us going forward," Wizards coach Scott Brooks told reporters on Monday. Washington Wizards point guard John Wall wrote an emotionally powerful open letter to his late father, John Wall, Sr., for ESPN The Magazine’s State of the Black Athlete issue, which will be released February 5. John Sr. spent most of Wall’s childhood in prison before dying of liver cancer when Wall was only 9 years old.
