The New York Islanders got a much-needed win on Saturday afternoon when they absolutely crushed their cross-town rivals 7-2. The star of the game for the Islanders was rookie forward Mathew Barzal as he finished with a pair of goals and three assists in the win. Mathew Barzal had two goals and three assists, Anthony Beauvillier added two goals and an assist, and the New York Islanders beat the New York Rangers 7-2 on Saturday for their ninth win in the last 10 meetings of the crosstown rivals.
