Montreal Canadiens forward Phillip Danault left hospital on Sunday, a day after taking a puck to the head in a scary incident in the team's 4-3 NHL shootout loss to the Boston Bruins. Danault, 24, went down when he was struck in the head by a slapshot from the Bruins' Zdeno Chara at the Bell Centre arena. The Montreal Canadiens received good news on Sunday when center Phillip Danault was released from the hospital a day after getting hit in the head by a puck shot by Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara. Chara blasted one from the blue line, hitting Danault, who was standing at the top of the faceoff circle, on the right side of his head off his helmet. Montreal Canadiens forward Phillip Danault was taken to hospital on Saturday after being hit in the head by a slapshot from the Boston Bruins' Zdeno Chara at the Bell Centre Arena. Danault was standing between Chara and the Montreal goal with a couple other players late in the second period when Chara wound up from the blueline and delivered a head-high shot that slammed into the side of the Canadian player's helmet.
