Drew Doughty scored early in the third period to lift the Los Angeles Kings over the Vancouver Canucks 4-3 on Saturday night. Kyle Clifford scored the tying goal 2:22 into the third to set up Doughty's winner, and Tyler Toffoli and Marian Gaborik also scored for Los Angeles. Jonathan Quick made 22 saves. The Golden Knights' remarkable inaugural season kept getting better Thursday night with their sixth consecutive victory, a 3-2 overtime win over the Los Angeles Kings. The Vegas Golden Knights never cease to amaze. With a 3-2 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, the NHL’s newest addition — its rookie team — kept raising the bar in regards to what an expansion team can accomplish with a little magic and a heaping spoonful of buy-in.
