Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid plans to hand over playcalling responsibilities to offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, according to team sources. Reid did not respond to inquiries regarding the development as the Chiefs enter Sunday having lost five of six games after a 5-0 start. A team spokesman claimed to have no knowledge of the change. It would not be the first time in Reid's coaching career that has he has occasionally turned over play-calling to a coordinator. Darrelle Revis is expected to make his debut with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and it will fittingly come against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. A person with direct knowledge of the plan has told The Associated Press that former NFL coach Herm Edwards is in line to become Arizona State's next coach, pending approval of the university president. The official spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity Wednesday night because the deal and official announcement are still being finalized. Edwards became a surprise candidate to replace Todd Graham after saying on ESPN's SportsCenter and a Phoenix radio station Wednesday that he was interviewing for the job. Continue to Article

After telling Tennessee he’d mullet over, Mike Gundy has apparently decided to remain home. At around 9:24 p.m. ET Tuesday night, Brett McMurphy tweeted that Gundy has decided to remain at Oklahoma State. That report came after a flurry of reports earlier in the day that had Gundy meeting with UT officials in Dallas to discuss the Vols’ opening. Exactly four minutes after McMurphy’s tweet, Gundy posted his own tweet that indicated he would be staying in Stillwater. I guess that makes things unofficially official, that, for the second time in five years, Gundy has snubbed the Vols in favor of his alma mater. As to where UT goes from here?
