Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball has endured some rough moments this season, but he took a step back in the right direction with his second triple-double on Sunday. Ball helped the Lakers to a 127-109 win over the Denver Nuggets by scoring 11 points with 16 rebounds and 11 assists. Lonzo Ball flashed his potential Sunday night as the Lakers rookie earned his second career triple double in the Lakers 127-109 win over the Nuggets. Ball, who has struggled with his shot to start his rookie campaign, was five-for-13 from the field for 11 points on the night. DENVER -- New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis left Friday night's 146-114 loss to the Denver Nuggets after suffering a concussion in the opening minute of the third quarter. Davis, a four-time All-Star, was inadvertently hit in the face by Nuggets center Nikola Jokic's head. Jokic was backing Davis down while making a spin move along the baseline. Davis remained on the floor with his hands over his face for a minute before he walked to the locker room with 11 minutes, 2 seconds left in the quarter. The Denver Nuggets followed their worst offensive performance of the season with one that will certainly be hard to top. Jamal Murray scored 31 points and the Nuggets had the NBA's highest-scoring game of the season in a 146-114 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
