Minnesota Timberwolves
A season-high, four-game losing streak is a faint memory for the San Antonio Spurs as they head to Minnesota on Wednesday for the second game of a back-to-back situation. The Timberwolves have become good at recovery as well. San Antonio has won five of its past six games after a 97-91 win in Dallas on Tuesday. Continue to Article

Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons are heading on the road for a few days, so maybe someone will see them play. Detroit's 10-3 start, good for No. 2 in the Eastern Conference standings, is one of the biggest good surprises in the NBA through the season's first month. Van Gundy credited former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick for starting a movement that has since seen many NFL and WNBA players protesting social injustice and racial inequality during the national anthem. Detroit Pistons
In a time where bigotry seems on the rise and commitment to racial equality on the decline, I have an obligation as a citizen to speak out and to support, in any way possible, those brave and patriotic athletes who are working to bring change to our country. Many have criticized NFL and WNBA players who have taken a knee, raised a fist or remained in the locker room during the national anthem to protest racial injustice. President Donald Trump has said that those who protest should be fired. Continue to Article
