The Phoenix Suns are asking a king’s ransom for the star point guard, and several teams have apparently been taken aback at the asking price for the 27-year-old. John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins and Eric Bledsoe joined forces to make a very good team at the University of Kentucky back in 2009-10 before all three became NBA first round picks. In the eight years since, Wall has played in the posteason four times while neither Cousins or Bledsoe have been as fortunate. Last season Cousins got his wish with a trade out of Sacramento and now Bledsoe is seeking the same out of Phoenix. Continue to Article

The Portland Trail Blazers didn't expect to see the same Phoenix team they beat by a record score in the season opener. Damian Lillard scored 25 points, C.J. McCollum had 23 and the Trail Blazers outlasted persistent Phoenix 114-107 on Saturday night. Lillard hit a 10-foot runner with 29 seconds left to give the Blazers (4-2) a four-point lead in a game where they never led by double digits. Continue to Article

In an attempt to limit potential distractions, the CBA says players with multiple seasons remaining on their contracts – like Bledsoe – can’t sign extensions during the regular season. Bledsoe is set to earn $14.5 million this season and $15.5 million next season. If it were a few years ago, Phoenix would be under the previous CBA and likely capped out. Continue to Article

Something about Phoenix's response to Eric Bledsoe's trade request has been bugging me, so let me try to explain why. It began earlier this week when we found out that Bledsoe explained his "I don't wanna be here" tweet by saying that he'd been dragged to a hair salon. Bledsoe likely wanted to avoid a fine from the league for publicly addressing his displeasure with Phoenix, so we now have a spiritual cousin to Boogie's hot sculpting class. Continue to Article
