After only partying on the road in the postseason last year, the Cleveland Indians finally got a chance to throw a bash in their own home. On Sunday, the team that couldn't lose for a few weeks, celebrated winning its second straight AL Central title after beating the Kansas City Royals 4-3 to conclude a homestand during which included the Indians setting a league record with a 22-game winning streak. Jason Heyward hit a tiebreaking RBI single with two out in the seventh, and the Chicago Cubs swept the St. Louis Cardinals with a 4-3 victory on Sunday. Ben Zobrist drove in two runs and Kyle Schwarber hit his 27th homer as the NL Central-leading Cubs closed out a 6-3 homestand with their sixth consecutive victory. Why doesn't Albert Almora Jr. play more? It's a common refrain from Cubs fans lately, especially with the 23-year-old outfielder in a middle of a hot stretch that saw him collect eight RBI in three at-bats this week. Almora came in as a reserve in all three games against the New York Mets earlier in the homestand and went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, a homer, eight RBI and three runs.  Joe Maddon wrote Almora's name in Saturday's lineup against the St. Louis Cardinals, just his fourth start out of 15 games in September.
