The Georgia Bulldog fanbase waited a long time to be able to travel to Chicago and then to South Bend to play the Fighting Irish. Here are some of the sights from around the city the day before! Calling the #Dawgs. pic.twitter.com/FOZt45MDu2— Chicago Continue to Article

Milwaukee Brewers
As the season starts to seriously wind down, playoff races are starting to ramp up. And the Milwaukee Brewers are in the thick of both the NL Central pennant race and the NL wild-card contest. Beer company MillerCoors, which has deep roots in Milwaukee, wants to celebrate the Brewers’ surprising season and support their hometown team as they try to make it to the playoffs. The Cleveland Indians didn't need much help to match last season's team-record 14-game winning streak, batting .317 and pitching to a 1.86 ERA over the last two weeks. Cleveland jumped all over emergency starter Mike Pelfrey for seven runs in the first three innings and Corey Kluber struck out 13 in seven innings of three-hit ball on Thursday night, helping the Indians win their franchise-record 15th consecutive game, 11-2 over the Chicago White Sox. Edwin Encarnacion hit a three-run homer in the first inning and Cleveland went deep five times in becoming the first major league team to win 15 straight since the 2002 Oakland A's. But a year ago, he almost gave it all up. Maples' journey from A-ball to the majors has been one of the most interesting stories in Chicago when the Cubs called him up as rosters expanded in September. After all, it's not every day a guy makes the jump from the lower levels of the minors (Advanced Class-A Myrtle Beach) to pitching at Wrigley Field. "It's been a surreal year," Maples said on the CubsTalk Podcast this Continue to Article

Chicago Cubs
In a season where the Cleveland Indians hope to get one more win than last year, the team has a chance to take its best stretch of baseball farther than a year ago. Carlos Carrasco was the latest Indians starter to shine with a complete game dismantling of the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday night, and the 5-1 victory was Cleveland's 14th straight win. The streak is MLB's longest this season and the Indians have a chance to set a franchise record with 15 straight on Thursday in Chicago, which would top last season's run of 14 by the eventual American League champions who lost the World Series in Game 7 to the Chicago Cubs.
