MIAMI – It wasn’t a fatal blow, but the Phillies landed a damaging dagger to the heart of the Miami Marlins and their fading playoff hopes with a 3-2 win on Thursday night at Marlins Park. Nicasio is 2-5 with a 2.65 ERA in a team-high 65 appearances with Pittsburgh this season. The 31-year-old Nicasio will become a free agent at the end of the season. Michael Feldman, a top photo editor whose 40-year career took him from the gritty streets of Philadelphia to major international sporting events including the Olympics and soccer's World Cup, died Wednesday. Feldman, who spent two decades as a photography news leader at The Associated Press before his 2008 retirement, died at his Philadelphia home, according to his son, Adam Feldman.
