Philadelphia Phillies
The Giants don't seem to be too fond of Hector Neris. The reliever inherited runners on first and second with two outs and Giants All-Star catcher Buster Posey at the plate. On a first-pitch fastball, Neris plunked Posey, who called out the Phillies' closer afterward. Continue to Article

On Sunday, for the first time in his professional career, Phillies shortstop prospect J.P. Crawford started at third base. With September looming, the Phillies may be considering a promotion for Crawford. The Phillies haven’t been averse to trying their prospects out at new positions. Continue to Article

Philadelphia Phillies
Buster Posey has a very high opinion of himself these days. The catcher for the San Francisco Giants, and pretty much the best position player on the team, got plunked by Philadelphia Phillies closer Hector Neris on Sunday, and he was convinced that it happened on purpose. Posey said he has no doubt Neris drilled him on purpose. Continue to Article
