Mets rookie RHP Chris Flexen earned his first big league victory and picked up his first big league hit during the team's 5-4 win Tuesday against the Rangers at Citi Field. He allowed three runs and four hits, while walking three batters and striking out four, while tossing 5 2/3 innings during what was the longest outing of his young career. He lasted just three innings pitched during each of his first two big league starts, allowing a total of eight runs.
