Ken Rosenthal has found out the ten teams on Yu Darvish‘s no-trade list per his contract. They are the Orioles, Red Sox, Cubs, Indians, Rockies, White Sox, Tigers, A’s, Pirates and Blue Jays. He has no right to veto trades to any other team. As we’ve noted in recent days, the Dodgers are said to have a “strong interest” in Darvish. It’d not be at all surprising to see other contenders in on him too, at least as long as the Rangers keep listening to offers. In the no-trade category, it would seem that the Cubs and Indians would have a need, but it’s doubtful the Indians would make that kind of deal. So when Herrera did not run out a dropped third strike in the sixth inning of Tuesday night's 5-0 loss to the Houston Astros at Citizens Bank Park (see Instant Replay), Mackanin yanked him from the game as part of a double switch, a remarkable move considering Herrera has been the club's best hitter, batting .331 (58 for 175) since June 1. "It had something to do with it," Mackanin admitted. "I'm going to talk to him tomorrow." Herrera knows well the way to Mackanin's office. He's been called in front of the principal Continue to Article

With the non-waiver trade deadline rapidly approaching, SI.com's baseball writers and editors weigh in with their predictions as to what will happen before 4 p.m. on July 31. 1. Which team will wind up with Sonny Gray? Having gone out on a limb recently by predicting Gray to the Astros, I’ll stick with that. Continue to Article
