Hoping to bolster their rotation for a playoff run, the Minnesota Twins got veteran left-handed pitcher Jaime García, catcher Anthony Recker and cash from the Atlanta Braves for minor league righty Huascar Ynoa on Monday. After it seeming like a done deal only a few days ago before being held up due to prospect medical concerns on the Braves’ part, Jaime Garcia is now officially heading to the Twins in exchange for 19-year old right-hander Huascar Ynoa, who was spending time with the Elizabethton Twins in the Appalachian league. In addition to Garcia, catcher Anthony Recker is also heading to Minnesota and the Braves are sending some cash along as well. Heading into Sunday’s series finale in Arizona, Washington Nationals’ lefty Matt Grace had a 3.22 ERA in 22 1⁄3 innings pitched on the season with nine walks (3.63 BB/9), 14 Ks (5.64 K/9), and a .250/.333/.300 line against.
