New York Yankees second baseman Starlin Castro will be placed on the disabled list with another injury to his right hamstring, manager Joe Girardi said Saturday. ''We're not sure it's the exact same spot,'' Girardi said. Girardi said Tyler Wade will be recalled from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, where the infielder is hitting .313 with six homers and 30 RBIs. Aaron Judge hit his 31st home run of the year and had four RBIs in the Yankees' 5-1 win over the Mariners on Friday. Judge's three-run home run off Mariners' starter Andrew Moore was his first since July 7, snapping a 10-game homerless streak. He added a sacrifice fly in the third inning. Judge hit 47 home runs in the home run derby earlier this month, becoming the first rookie to win it outright. In 93 games for the Yankees this season, Judge is hitting .313 with 31 homers, 72 RBI, and 13 doubles. The big slugger clobbered a hanging curveball from starter Andrew Moore (1-2) into the second deck in left field, with the ball landing three rows from the top of the stadium. Continue to Article

Aaron Judge hit a ball so far Friday night that it nearly left Safeco Field in Seattle. In the top of the 5th inning against Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Andrew Moore, Judge released a monster shot into the left-field stands. Saying that his first home run since his Home Run Derby victory went to the last rows in Safeco and nearly left the building wouldn’t give it justice. You have to see it with your own eyes. Aaron Judge had not hit a home run since July 7. Friday, he hit a home run so far that it couldn't be tracked. Aaron Judge hit it to the third-to-last row at Safeco. That's bonkers. pic.twitter.com/huNHrKNWO9— Kenny Ducey (@KennyDucey) July 22, 2017 Continue to Article
