Gio Gonzalez threw 8 1⁄3 scoreless against Cincinnati in his first second-half outing this past weekend in Great American Ball Park, holding the Reds to four hits and two walks in what ended up a 5-0 win for Washington. Its not likely that the Washington Nationals deal Victor Robles at the trade deadline, but the same couldve been said for Lucas Giolito last winter. Washington has a top-heavy farm system, boasting several promising stars within their organizations top five but not much else. If theyre going to compete in a closer market full of several playoff contenders, then Mike Rizzo must be willing to part ways with some of his top developing talent. Continue to Article
