The lineup is set for the Home Run Derby, and here come the Baby Bombers. Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez, the young sluggers who power the New York Yankees' offense, will participate in the long ball contest July 10 during All-Star festivities in Miami. Judge, a rookie who homered in his first major league at-bat last August, tops the majors with 27 home runs. Continue to Article

A World Series manager can’t just pack the All-Star roster with his cronies anymore. Competitors are clearly catching up to the defending champs, with the Washington Nationals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies all on pace to win between 93 and 100-plus games. The Washington Nationals' two biggest stars took center stage on national television Sunday night. Bryce Harper homered twice against Carlos Martinez, Max Scherzer struck out 12 over seven scoreless innings and the Nationals beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-2. Harper also doubled and had four RBIs to pace Washington, which snapped a three-game skid and had lost five of seven. Continue to Article
