SAN FRANCISCO — The next step of Madison Bumgarner’s rehab was a bit shakier than expected, but positive nonetheless.  Bumgarner threw 3 2/3 innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Sacramento on Friday night. A talented and free-swinging Fresno Grizzlies (Astros affiliate) squad tagged him for four runs on seven hits, but the most important number came in the pitch count column. With 62 pitches, Bumgarner is well on his way to returning to the big leagues near the start of the second half.  Bumgarner gave up a run in the first on a double, hit-by-pitch, walk and sacrifice fly. SAN FRANCISCO — It turns out the pole-vaulting bump works on the road, too.  The Giants hammered the Pirates 13-5 on the first night of a road trip, winning their fourth straight game. Johnny Cueto was far from his best stuff-wise or command-wise, but he battled and the lineup backed him all night with a season-high 18 hits.  The four-game win streak is just the second of the season, but here, we’re all about fives. Buster Posey first experienced virtual reality last spring when the San Francisco Giants had their All-Star catcher wear goggles so he could see the VR experience the team had put together. “It was pretty strange because I was watching myself stretch as if I was there watching it,” Posey said Thursday. For this year’s MLB All-Star FanFest, it’s Posey who is the star of a VR experience that enables fans to see and feel what it’s like to catch virtual pitches starting July 7 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner is a popular draw in Sacramento, too. Bumgarner, the 2014 World Series MVP, is expected to pitch Friday night at Raley Field in a rehab appearance with the Triple-A River Cats. Single-game tickets for the game had sold out as of Wednesday afternoon, the River Cats said. Tickets were still available, though, through a two-game pack that includes Friday night’s game and Aug. 11, which was already scheduled for a Bumgarner T-shirt giveaway. A River Cats spokesperson said a small amount of additional single-game tickets could become available on Friday morning, but that is not guaranteed.
