Baltimore Orioles
The Orioles are finally back at home. In today's links, Kevin Gausman is still trying to turn it around, pitching is sinking the Orioles (duh), and more. Buck Showalter has often been able to get the most out of his pitchers, but Baltimore's staff has been awful during the team's recent 10-23 stretch. Continue to Article

Matt Davidsons bat is so hot that the White Sox still had plenty even after Avisail Garcias ejection on Thursday afternoon. Davidson homered for the fourth game in a row and also jump-started the game-winning rally as the White Sox downed the Baltimore Orioles 5-2 at Guaranteed Rate Field. The leadoff homer blasted by Davidson in the fourth inning made him the first White Sox player to homer in four straight games since Alex Rios from April 5-9, 2013. Continue to Article

Dusty Baker talked after that win about how the long string of games without a break was at least in part behind the NL East division leaders struggles. Continue to Article

St. Louis Cardinals
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Cardinals appear they will once again be without second baseman Kolten Wong, after he left Wednesday’s game early due to tightness in his right forearm. “He was favoring it,” said Mike Matheny afterwards. “Yeah, he couldn’t really throw. I think it happened on his check swing, so we’re going to have him really looked at closely and gotta figure out what we’re dealing with here and deciding how long that’s going to take.” Less than two weeks ago (May 27 - June 6th), Wong was on the disabled list with a strained left elbow. Raising his batting average to .301, Wong had an RBI double and strikeout on the night before he was replaced by Greg Garcia in the top of the 6th Continue to Article

Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles kept insisting they would turn things around and break out of their slump. Welington Castillo hit his first career grand slam and drove in a personal-best five runs, and the Orioles snapped a six-game losing streak with a rain-delayed 10-6 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday night. Castillo gave the Orioles an 8-5 lead with his drive against Miguel Gonzalez (4-8) in the fifth inning and helped prevent them from matching their longest slide of the season. Continue to Article
