All four of the Orioles domestic affiliates lost their games on Saturday, and for most of them, the starting pitchers did their best Chris Tillman impersonations. Lately, manager Buck Showalter has lamented the performance of pitchers at Norfolk who might be called up to try to help the big league club, and in that vein, Gabriel Ynoa gave up four runs on seven hits and three walks in just 4.2 innings in this game. Dusty Baker and the Nationals look to bounce back after a flat performance against the Rangers in last nights 5-2 loss. Dusty Baker tried to rest some of his regulars in Thursdays make-up game against the Baltimore Orioles, since the Nationals had just flown back to Washington from California the night before, arriving in the nations capital at 2:00 AM after their nine-game, three-city West Coast swing. The Nationals managed to beat the Orioles, 6-1, but as a team, they looked tired in last nights series opening loss to the Texas Rangers. Continue to Article

Jake Petricka is satisfied to be back in the majors after clearing several large hurdles in the past 18 months. The White Sox reliever was activated off the 10-day disabled list on Friday, returning to the club nearly two months after he suffered a strained lat muscle. After making three rehab appearances at Triple-A Charlotte and throwing a handful more times off the mound in Arizona, Petricka is ready to be a part of the major league team once again.
