Chicago Cubs
With a talented, young nucleus of players fresh off a World Series championship, nobody could have predicted the Chicago Cubs would sit at .500 on June 9. Here we are, though.  The roller coaster season continued Friday with a 5-3 loss to the Colorado Rockies, sending everyone and their mother into a treacherous hot take storm.  On SportsTalk Live, we called in the experts to analyze the North Siders' problems:  CSN's David Kaplan "Number one, I would send (Ian) Happ down. He didn’t have to. The city’s demands have put the mayor’s Continue to Article

The past year has been a big one for Ben Zobrist. As great as the bobblehead is, it’s not nearly as great as the surprise that the Cubs and Zobrist’s own family pulled off. See, Zobrist had volunteered to catch the ceremonial first pitch on his own bobblehead night. Continue to Article

Addison Russell returned to Wrigley Field on Friday. Addison Russell returned to Wrigley Field on Friday morning, one day after domestic abuse allegations caused the Chicago Cubs to tell their starting shortstop to stay at home. “I’ve already made my statement for a reason,” Russell said to reporters in front of his locker.
