Chicago Cubs
The first two games of this weekend’s Cubs-Brewers series at Wrigley Field have been complicated by rain, but that hasn’t stopped the division rivals from having fun or providing some entertainment. Once the action returned, the Brewers held on for a 6-3 win. As for Saturday’s game, that one never got started as the Cubs were forced to postpone their anticipated “Final Out” bobblehead giveaway until July 6. Meanwhile, in the Cubs new closed-in bullpens that are located under the right and left field bleachers, a dance-off took place that appears to have reached epic levels. Continue to Article

Milwaukee Brewers
Kyle Schwarber wasn't in his usual leadoff spot for Saturday's scheduled Cubs-Brewers game, which was postponed due to rain. Manager Joe Maddon released a new lineup with Ben Zobrist hitting first, followed by Schwarber — and the usual Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo. It's no secret the Cubs slugger has struggled in the leadoff spot this season. Hitting .182/.305./.351 in 38 games, Schwarber has been looking to find consistency at the plate. Maddon even came to his defense earlier this week when asked whether the slumping Schwarber would continue to hit first in a game against the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field. So Maddon's shakeup in the lineup doesn't exactly indicate his lack of confidence Continue to Article

Jason Heyward's return to the Chicago Cubs lineup will have to wait another day. The game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday afternoon was rained out. "Nothing you can do about (the weather), that's why we're here to embrace the suck," said Cubs manager Joe Maddon, referencing the team's new T-shirt slogan. Continue to Article

Chicago Cubs
Never question Nick Offerman's passion for the Cubs.  The actor, who played Ron Swanson in NBC's hit show "Parks & Recreation," proved his die-hard fan status on Friday, sitting through a two-hour rain delay and braving 30-degree temperatures to watch the Cubs fall to the Brewers.  Along with 22 family members, Offerman bussed up to the North Side to throw out the first pitch and perform "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."   We'll be honest, though, his wild first pitch won't help him land any future roles in baseball films.  Before channeling his inner-Harry Caray in the seventh, the Illinois-native graced Len Kasper and Kerry Wood in the booth to discuss why he and his family really stayed.  "We've Continue to Article
