Boston Celtics
It might seem a little difficult to convince folks to slap their eyeballs on the conference finals round of the NBA playoffs. The Golden State Warriors seem more than capable of handling the San Antonio Spurs and are up 2-0. LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers dominated the Boston Celtics in Game 1, and are the favorites to advance to the NBA Finals. Continue to Article

BOSTON – Against the Washington Wizards, the Boston Celtics built a defensive wall of sorts against John Wall that eventually wore him down. A similar mindset applies to defending Cleveland’s LeBron James.  But as we have seen through the years, defending James – particularly in the playoffs – is a lot easier said than done.  The Celtics will give it another go tonight in Game 2 of their best-of-seven playoff series against Cleveland, a series that Cleveland leads 1-0 following their 117-104 Game 1 win.  In Game 1, James established himself from the outset, scoring 15 of his game-high 38 points in the first quarter. "Very surprised," Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue said about Irving's exclusion Friday morning, prior to the team's shootaround. "Just because of the year he's had throughout our team and all the injuries that we had, him and LeBron carried this team for most of the season with Kevin (Love) and J.R. (Smith) being out. I thought it was a tough decision, but Continue to Article

Boston Celtics
Now that John Wall is finally All-NBA for the first time in his career, it's difficult to find any reason to complain about him being recognized among the top 15 players in the league. He made third team -- ahead of the likes of Kyle Lowry, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Goran Dragic  and Damian Lillard who have appeared before him-- but behind second-team selection Isaiah Thomas. On the surface, it's splitting hairs. So what? At least Wall fulfilled one of his goals after a 49-win season and getting the Wizards to Game 7 of the conference semifinals. But he'll surely find exta motivation because even though he has begun to earn more respect on a national scale, he won't feel it was enough after averaging Continue to Article
