Venezuela has nearly ground to a halt over the past several weeks as opponents of President Nicolas Maduro have taken to the streets to demand his removal from power. The protests themselves have turned violent as well, with hundreds injured and thousands have been arrested. Maduro stands defiant, employing the military to hold on to power and crack down on his opponents. Continue to Article

On Friday, May 12th, A.J. Cole and the Washington Nationals were supposed to face off against the Philadelphia Phillies. The first 25,000 fans in attendance, as a special bonus, would receive bobbleheads of beautiful, perfect, sweet Trea Turner. Scott Miller of Bleacher Report recently focused on Samardzija’s still-thriving baseball career, more than a year after Calvin Johnson walked away from football while he could still walk.
