If LeBron James is going to cover Dahntay Jones' fine again in a playoff series against the Toronto Raptors, it's going to cost him a little bit more this time. Jones picked up two technicals on the same play late in the fourth quarter of the Cavaliers' 116-105 win in Game 1 of this Eastern Conference semifinal series and earned an automatic ejection. The cost for his infractions is $6,000 (by the way, Jones' salary for the season is about $9,000 since, like last year he was signed on the final day of the regular season). In the conference finals last season between these two teams, Jones punched Toronto's Bismack Biyombo in the groin late in the fourth quarter of Game 3 and was suspended for one game. CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Kyrie Irving and LeBron James hooked up for a spectacular fast break dunk less than three minutes into Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Monday against the Toronto Raptors. With the Cavaliers leading 8-3, Irving forced Toronto guard Kyle Lowry to pick up his dribble. James played the passing lane and stepped in front of a ball intended for Serge Ibaka. Irving collected the loose ball and pushed it ahead, with James pointing to the sky for a lob. That's when Irving tossed the ball high off the backboard and James dunked it home with his left hand and sent the Quicken Loans Arena crowd into a frenzy. One round earlier than a year ago, Toronto and Cleveland are meeting again in the NBA playoffs. On the way to winning their first title last season, LeBron James and the Cavs took care of the Raptors in the Eastern Conference finals, a series that was tied 2-2 before Cleveland won the final two games.
